Its been a year since i took vacation.I just took ONE casual leave the whole year and can u believe i worked on that day as well,Probably am the only employee on this planet who gets sympathy and apologies from his manager for making a call on vacation.
Its been a event ful year marriage,starting a seperate life staying away from parents,Shifting two houses getting promoted ,attending interviews and finally going on a holiday.
Unlike many people i some how stopped liking taking an off on weekday am not sure if it is because of my love towards work or job insecurity.
Finally i decided to take a week off for a vacation.We checked for kerala(No tickets),others Expensive,Goa was a viable option
After a horrible bus journey we reached goa(horrible not because of the company but because of the bugs or the veg puff which i ate before boarding the bus for which i had an allergic reaction.Country Club is 20 kms from panjim,I had my doubts about the accomidation and food there.But i was wrong the room was pretty good and food compared to the sita veg restuarent there was awesone the fact that it was complimentary.
We took a activa bike on rent and started first day we have been to fort aguada,calingute beach,really loved the vibrance of the city .Fort Aguda was abt 30 kms from where we stayed
Fort aguda was total dissapointment.After travelling for abt 45 mins there was a light house and jail and nothing else to see.We took the route back towards the hotel and went to calingute.
Water in calingute was very clean but not sure if it was because of the holdiay season the crowd was a bit on the higher side but the beach was worth going.
after spending for abt an hr and taking some snaps me went to the restuarent in the hotel where we had some delecious food jeera rice and roti were really good.
I had a very bad opinion on country club before visiting Goa Am not really sure abt the other branches though.
on the same day we went to baga beach in the evening.It was not as clean as calingute.
The ferry ride was great (In the indian style) although he didnt keep up with for the too many things he promised.
Next day we relaxed for a lot of time and went to anjuna beach post lunch,It was different Loud music being played inthe background a white weirdo with long hair dancing.

Westeners sunbathing.It was the cleanest beach i saw in india really awesome we had good time taking pics playing in the water.
After coming back we had a wonderful candel light dinner arranged for us

Overall it was a fantacis experience worth visting.We already were planning to visit next time unlike ooty and kodai where we decided that we wouldnt be going again to those places.
The return journey was pretty good with the joyful memories unlike how it started.
PS:Wednesday morning just reached home and my phone starts ringing
M:Ani sorry to disturb but we have this issue and i say am back from vacation and my wife gives me this wonderful glare back :) and i rushed and switched on my laptop.:)
